A BAW British Airways Airbus A350-1000, registration G-XWBN performing flight BA-274 from Las Vegas,NV (USA) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was climbing out of Las Vegas' runway 26R when during gear retraction the outboard aft main wheel dropped off the bogie and fell to the ground. The aircraft continued for a safe landing at Heathrow about 9:15 hours later.

The aircraft is still on the ground at Heathrow about 22 hours after landing.

The FAA reported: "British Airways Flight 274 lost a tire during takeoff from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas around 8:45 p.m. local time on Monday, Jan. 26. The Airbus A350 continued to Heathrow Airport in London where it landed safely. The FAA will investigate."
