An El Al Boeing 777-200, registration 4X-ECF performing flight LY-324 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Tel Aviv (Israel), was on a visual approach to Tel Aviv's runway 30 when the crew turned onto a final approach trajectory about 1nm north of the actual approach track to runway 30. The aircraft descended to about 600 feet before initiating a go around and reposition at 4000 feet for another approach to runway 30. The aircraft landed safely on runway 30 about 20 minutes later.
