A LATAM Boeing 767-300, registration CC-CWV performing flight LA-2424 from Lima (Peru) to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil), was enroute at FL330 about 300nm southeast of Lima when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure, the passenger oxygen masks were released. The aircraft levelled off at FL100 and returned to Lima for a safe landing on runway 16R about 105 minutes after departure.
