A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N705JB performing flight B6-1067 from Westchester,NY to West Palm Beach,FL (USA), was enroute at FL360 about 160nm northeast of Jacksonville,FL (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Jacksonville, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 26 about 30 minutes later.

A passenger reported the captain told them after landing that there had been an acrid smell on the flight deck that had caused eye and lung irritation and made it difficult to breathe.
