A Gol Transportes Aereos Boeing 737-800, registration PR-GTH performing flight G3-1137 from Maringa,PR to Sao Paulo Congonhas,SP (Brazil), was climbing out of Maringa's runway 28 when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet reporting smoke on board. The aircraft returned to Maringa for a safe landing on runway 28 about 12 minutes after departure.

Maringa Airport reported the aircraft returned due to smoke on board, all passengers and crew disembarked safely.
