An Air France Airbus A320-200, registration F-GKXQ performing flight AF-1741 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was climbing out of Amsterdam's runway 36C when the crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet declaring PAN PAN and reporting high engine (CFM56) vibrations. The crew reduced the engine to idle and returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 06 about 17 minutes after departure.
