A RAM Royal Air Maroc Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration CN-COH performing flight AT-995 from Porto (Portugal) to Casablanca (Morocco), was climbing out of Porto's runway 35 when the crew stopped the climb at 4000 feet reporting smoke on board and decided to return to Porto. During final approach the crew advised that the smoke was now under control. The aircraft landed safely back on Porto's runway 35 about 18 minutes after departure.

The aircraft positioned back to Casablanca about 48 hours later and resumed service.
