A Smartwings Boeing 737-800, registration OK-TVW performing flight QS-1153 from Malaga,SP (Spain) to Prague (Czech Republic), was climbing out of Malaga when the crew received fault messages EQUIP DOOR, WINDOW OVERHEAT (L FWD, R SIDE), GEN 1 TRANSFER BUS OFF, STBY PWR OFF and TR UNIT. The crew decided to divert to Barcelona,SP (Spain), where the aircraft landed safely about 90 minutes after departure.
Czechia's UZPLN reported the same fault messages had already occurred on the previous flight QS-1152 to Malaga, the aircraft had landed in Malaga without further incident. Mechanics inspected the aircraft in Malaga with no fault found and released the aircraft back to service. After diverting to Barcelona a mechanics checked the aircraft and cleared the aircraft according to minimum equipment list requirements for inoperative Generator 1 and Equipment Door. The aircraft subsequently positioned to Prague where the generator bus contactor was replaced thereby eliminating the fault on generator 1. The front entry door was checked, too, the door sensor was found stuck in the open position. The sensor was repaired and both MEL requirements were removed.
